Delmar Doucette (he/him) has a keen interest in conducting appeals to correct wrongful convictions. He has appeared for the defence on a steady basis in the Court of Appeal for Ontario and in the Supreme Court of Canada since his call to the bar in 1988. He is regularly appointed by the Court of Appeal to conduct homicide appeals for appellants who are otherwise unrepresented. As a senior appellate lawyer, he is counsel to Furgiuele Law and provides advice to other criminal defence lawyers about the conduct of complex trials and appeals.
